Career Objective

Work Experience

¨ Presently working as Asst. Librarian in CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Responsibilities include managing the library with administrative functions such as acquisition/subscription of books and journals, issue of books and journals and budgeting; providing the required information to the users from the internal and external resources; Internet searches and database searches. (Since September 2002)

¨ Worked as a Temporary Project Assistant at J.R.D. Tata Memorial Library, Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Bangalore. Responsibilities included, handling Circulation Section, Periodical/Journal Section, Reference Section, Automation and Database Maintenance, Barcoding, Digitization of Thesis. (12th December 2001 to 29th June 2002).


¨ Worked as Librarian Larven Educational Center, Bangalore. Responsibilities included organization of the collection using classification and cataloguing techniques, managing the Library with administrative functions such as acquisition & subscription of Books & Journals & transactions. (July 2001 to December 2001)
